Carola Blanco Méndez has experience in different legal areas, especially related to banking matters, litigation, corporate governance, compliance.

In addition, she has specialized in the drafting and review of contracts of various nature such as the constitution of easements, the purchase and sale of real estate and water use rights, construction contracts, incorporation and division of companies.

She is a lawyer from the University of Chile and a journalist from the University of Santiago.  She has Diplomas in Science and Environment and in Rights of Indigenous Peoples, Environment and Dialogue Processes and Implementation of the Consultation of Convention 169.  She completed the Course Indigenous Peoples: Convention 169 and Public Policies. FLACSO, and the Course on Money Laundering, taught by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, in conjunction with the Financial Analysis Unit (UAF).
