Feisar Santiago Castro Abril is a bilingual attorney specialized in Commercial Law, with expertise in corporate, commercial, and regulatory advisory, focusing particularly on the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He currently serves as In-House Legal Counsel for Abbott, advising various business units on contractual, regulatory, commercial, and strategic matters, as well as legal risk management and government affairs.

He brings over six years of experience advising domestic and multinational corporations, both in top-tier law firms and in-house roles. He has led high-impact matters for the Life Sciences sector, including commercial strategies (go-to-market), regulatory projects with business impact, structuring of complex contracts, strategic litigation, and debt collection strategies within the Colombian Healthcare System. Key milestones include recovering over USD 3 million in outstanding receivables over the course of his career and advising on direct sales to Health Promotion Entities (EPS) in high-impact transactions for the Colombian healthcare system.

He earned his Law Degree and his Postgraduate Specialization in Commercial Law from Universidad de La Sabana, and holds a Diploma in Commercial Law from the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
