Dr. Gonzalo García Velasco is one of the founding partners of BBG Abogados Latam / Garcia Velasco y Garcia De Luca. He worked at Banamex for 35 years, holding diverse positions until he was designated General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Furthermore, he was a member of the Board of Envases Universales de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. and American Express Bank.


He has over 60 years of professional experience, and more than 21 years as a Doctor of Law. He teaches Law at the Universidad Panamericana at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.


He is a lawyer from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and holds a Doctorate in Law from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico.
